Schmoffee is a start-up that contacted me to design the UX/UI for their app that specialises in making your morning routine coffee run that bit easier.
I created the designs based off of the sketch they had made from a coffee bean meteorite, creating a small world within the app that guided the users through.
My goal was to create a system that the users could get through with a minimum of 4-5 clicks, making it extremely user friendly and convenient.
Context:
Focused on simplifying the morning coffee routine, approached me to design the UX/UI for their app. They envisioned a creative concept based on a coffee bean meteorite, and I was tasked with bringing this idea to life. Drawing from their initial sketches, I developed an interactive, small-world experience within the app that would guide users seamlessly through the ordering process.
The primary objective was to ensure ease of use, creating a streamlined flow where users could complete their coffee order in just 4-5 clicks. The result is an intuitive and visually engaging interface that enhances convenience while maintaining the playful spirit of the brand.
Brief:
For this project, I utilized a combination of design tools to bring Schmoffee’s concept to life. Figma was my primary tool for creating the app’s layouts, allowing for smooth collaboration and precise adjustments to the overall user flow. I used Adobe Illustrator to craft custom illustrations that aligned with the playful, imaginative theme of the coffee bean meteorite. To refine the structure and interaction design, I developed the wireframes using a combination of software, ensuring flexibility and adaptability as the app’s visual and functional elements evolved. This multi-tool approach helped ensure a cohesive and user-friendly design.
