My project offers a whimsical glimpse into the future of tourism, imagining what travel might look like if humans venture beyond Earth. Through retro-inspired postcards and tickets, I reimagine the tourism industry as it extends to other planets.

These illustrations, blending nostalgia with futuristic concepts, come to life through augmented reality (AR), allowing viewers to explore these fantastical destinations right on their phones. This playful take highlights the possibilities of space travel while celebrating the charm of classic travel memorabilia.

Context:

For this project, I combined various design tools and techniques to create an engaging and interactive experience. Adobe Illustrator was used to craft detailed illustrations, while Figma helped structure the layouts for printed materials like postcards and brochures. To add a dynamic element, I incorporated creative coding to animate a moving salesman, bringing the design to life in a playful, interactive way. Additionally, I introduced augmented reality (AR) elements, allowing users to scan the postcards with their phones and unlock hidden layers of content, further immersing them in the experience.

The final outcome was a unique blend of styles and printing techniques, merging traditional and modern approaches. The combination of vibrant illustrations, dynamic coding, and AR technology offered a fresh and imaginative take on interactive design, pushing the boundaries of how print and digital elements can work together.
